Hair oil is one of the essential things that we can include in our daily beauty regime for our asian hair care. Many of us have a busy schedule and using hair oil on our hair is often the last thing on our mind. However, if you want to have healthy and shiny hair, you can try implementing the massaging of hair oil in your hair.
Getting the right kind of hair oil is very important. There are so many hair oils in the market and most will promote the benefits it provides. Before you make a purchase, be sure to check out the manufacturer and the ingredients that are being used. As a rule of thumb, buying from a more reputable and trusted company will give a peace of mind than an unknown company.
Some of the more popular and effective hair oils that will give a beautiful asian hair are:
Jojoba Oil – this natural ingredient can be used for treating dry hair and helps to give the proper moisture that your hair needs. It can also soften your hair and can be used for detangling your hair before a shampoo.
Olive Oil – it will help strengthen your hair and provide nourishment for your hair. It can also help to reduce stress on hair due to harsh environmental exposure and helps to build up a healthy hair by improving its elasticity.
Rosemary Herb Oil – this will help to reduce flakes and dandruff problems. Before using, warm up the oil a little and apply it onto your hair by massaging evenly thorough hair and rub it well on the scalp. Wrap hair with a hot towel and leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing it off.
Coconut Oil – this is an oil that can help to lubricate the asian hair. Coconut oil contains elements like iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium, which are the vitamins your hair will need. It is also very effective for damaged hair and will help to strengthen it.
For best results, always massage your scalp with the hair oil and leave it overnight. If you are afraid of staining your bed sheet, you can wear put a towel on your pillow to absorb the oil. If you don’t want to leave it overnight, you can also use a hot towel to wrap your hair for 30 minutes after applying the hair oil, this will help to speed up the hair oil absorption.
The massaging action on your hair also stimulates blood circulation, which can help your hair to grow faster and healthier. The hair oil residue on your hair will also protect your hair against the hot sun and other harsh environmental elements. Besides, the hair oil will also gives your hair an extra shine.
If you can keep up with this regime for at least thrice a week, you will see that your hair will become more beautiful, shiny and healthy. It does make a lot of difference if you keep doing this regularly as compared to doing it once a month or once every 3 months. Consistency is the key here.
Of course, simply by relying on hair oil is not enough if your diet is in a mess. Eating the right kind of food will also help to make your asian hair healthy. Eat less unhealthy food like canned and processed food, which not only does not protect your hair but will damage it instead. Avoid eating too much instant food like instant noodles, instant soup, instant pasta etc, as many of these food contain msg that will cause hair loss. Snacks like potato chips and crackers should be eaten in moderation as they usually contain too much salt that will cause further harm to our asian hair. We should eat more fresh food, vegetable and protein instead.
